Our values
Share
The board is only as honest as the people on it. We share conditions, beta and beta corrections freely.
Respect
The mountain doesn't grade on a curve. We treat information as what it is: a decision you still have to make.
Return
Every climber's real goal is the same — come home. Safety knowledge is free, forever.

I learned to listen to the ice before I learned to climb it.
My first season was in Rjukan, Norway — a valley that stays in shadow for months, where the waterfalls freeze solid and the sound of a good swing echoes off the walls. I was terrified. I was also hooked.
What the old-timers taught me wasn't technique. It was attention. The ice tells you everything — whether it's bonded or delaminating, fat or brittle — if you slow down enough to hear it. Climbing became a kind of listening.
Frost exists for that. Not to sell you gear or badges, but to give you the one thing a day on ice needs: good information, honestly shared, so you can climb the quiet instead of the noise.
The ice is already in.
